Traditionally from Emilia Romagna, the Pomodorina Sauce is one of our signature products. The recipe for this special sauce has been handed down by the family of Mrs. Maria Teresa Muratori Casali, wife of the owner of the company. In August every year, large quantities of tomato sauce were once prepared in every household, to which fresh, coarsely cut vegetables were then added. This peasant tradition underlies the Pomodorina sauce, sold by our company since the 1970s.

The Pomodorina sauce is prepared with diced tomatoes, picked in season and processed fresh, enriched with plenty of fresh vegetables, herbs and extra-virgin olive oil.
This tomato sauce is perfect for first courses or as a base for ragout. Delicious also on crostini, as a special topping for pizza or to make stews and dips.
