Modena Sauce

200 g n.w. glass jar

Mayonnaise enhanced by balsamic vinegar of Modena. A very delicate taste, with the sweet 'n' sour flavour of the balsamic vinegar standing out. Can be used instead of traditional mayonnaise in any recipe, or as a sweet 'n' sour sauce to accompany fish and boiled or grilled meats, without having to add other ingredients.

Gluten-free product

Sunflower seed oil (80%), egg yolk (7%), balsamic vinegar of Modena (6%), lemon juice, salt, colouring agent: caramel, aromas, preservative: potassium sorbate.
Recommended recipe

(for 4/5 people):

4/5 fresh eggs

1 jar of Modena Sauce

1 teaspoonful of mustard

olive oil




10 baby onions pickled in vinegar

balsamic vinegar




Hard boil the eggs, shell them and cut them in two lengthwise. Separate the yolk from the white making sure not to break the white (it will serve as a container).

Mix the yolks in a bowl with the mustard, salt, pepper, a touch of olive oil and the jar of Modena Sauce.

Fill the egg whites with the resulting sauce, garnish with chopped parsley, one baby onion and some drops of balsamic vinegar.
